Dear APSCE Members,

We have received another report of a scam email targeting our members. The fraudulent email uses the sender name "Maria Mercedes Rodrigo" with suspicious Gmail addresses (boardspres...@gmail.com and boardsexec...@gmail.com), requesting "urgent assistance."

Key Red Flags to Remember:
  • Unofficial email addresses (Gmail, Yahoo, etc. instead of institutional emails)
  • Vague requests for "urgent help" or assistance
  • Generic greetings without specific names/titles
If you receive suspicious emails:
  • DO NOT REPLY or click any links
  • DELETE the email immediately
  • REPORT to us if claiming to be from APSCE leadership
Always verify through official channels if you're unsure about any communication from APSCE officers.

Stay vigilant and protect yourself from these ongoing scam attempts.
