We are curious to know if we have any neighboring institutions who have enabled Google+ for any population at their schools.

We've enabled Google+ for our entire domain (all students, faculty, staff) at NC State University.

We have information about the services we've enabled here: http://google.ncsu.edu/app/list & specifically about Google+ here: http://google.ncsu.edu/app/google

We are a private collage in Georgia and we have enabled Google plus for all of our Fac/Staff and students. We find it being used primary for Hangouts by our Faculty and Staff. Students us it for this too but they also use it some for communication when they have group projects. The students have a much lower adoption rate than our Fac/Staff. Hope this helps. If you have any questions just let me know. We have almost every service enabled in our Google Domains.
Thanks,
