Google Apps API request limit exceeded

Hi All,

We've run into a bit of a problem with our Google Groups implementation. Specifically we are using Google groups for our course mailing lists and appear to be hitting the Google Group API request limit with our custom scripts for creating/managing the groups since Google doesn't provide a delete all function. It appears there is a courtesy limit of 100,000 but its unclear if that's per calendar day or per 24 hour period. Its also unclear how to get this limit raised. Has anyone else run into this issue? If so, how did you resolve/workaround it?

Hi,

We've requested upping limits in the Google API console. If you have a good reason we've found Google to be open to raising the API limits, you just need to ask.

Thank you for the info. How did you go about requesting the increase in
API limit? Was it through normal Google Support or via some other contact?
