Question about Chrome

HI,

Chrome is not part of the Google Apps suite but, many faculty and students use it at Northwestern.

Last Spring there was a change. We can no longer play embedded streaming videos from our video server in Chrome. Our embed code uses and object tag.

Professors can embed the code in Firefox but, it still does not play in Chrome. It simply leaves a big white space.

Subject: [Northcentral Apps] Missing Features

Hello All,

We are considering moving our Staff and Faculty into Google Apps for all email, calendar, and contacts from GroupWise. The staff are heavy users of calendars and all of the advanced features of busy searching, shared calenders/resources, delegating appointments, and the list goes on. I know there are larger schools that have completed moves to Google Apps for all collaboration. What features from a contacts, calendar, and email standpoint are missing when moving from a enterprise email system like GroupWise or Exchange? Will our power users be happy with the outlook integration? Does the ActiveSync integration work as well with power users?
