Research Collaboration Opportunities with the Lake James Environmental AssociationFriday, April 11, 1–2 p.m. via Zoom Join us to hear from members of the Lake James Environmental Association (LJEA) about their University Research Collaboration and Student Support program which trains students in environmental science by providing support for faculty-directed student research in the Lake James Watershed. An upcoming collaboration between RIEEE and LJEA will co-fund faculty-led research on post-Helene watershed assessments. We encourage faculty who are focused on water resource issues to invite students who may be interested in pursuing an aligned research project focused on the Lake James Watershed. Following the presentation, we will host a brief discussion to share these ideas. Speakers: Marshall Taylor, Board Member, LJEA Joanne Deyo, President, LJEA Grant Buckner, Board Member, LJEA; Catawba River Foundation
