Join us next week for this month's SCORE event! On Friday, October 31 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Plemmons Student Union, Room 413, Linn Cove, the SCORE initiative is hosting a research feature session spotlighting the STEPS@AppState effort. Add it to your calendar here.
Appalachian State University is one of eleven partner institutions in the NSF-funded Science and Technologies for Phosphorus Sustainability (STEPS) Center. The Research Institute for the Environment, Energy, and Economics (RIEEE) coordinates the STEPS@AppState effort — an opportunity for faculty and students to engage in a large, convergent research center.
We invite you to join us to learn about past and current research at Appalachian State funded by the STEPS Center and to connect with the STEPS@AppState Research Working Group to explore possibilities for new or expanded tasks in the year ahead. The solicitation for Year 5 STEPS@AppState funding is open now and due November 25, 2025.
You do not need to attend the event to propose a task or receive support, but we strongly encourage your participation in this collaborative conversation.
