Good afternoon, colleagues.
At the end of April, Appalachian State and the Office of Research and Innovation (ORI) were honored to host a regional multi-stakeholder workshop focused on Western North Carolina Research for Recovery & Resilience (WNC R3), funded by the NC Collaboratory. We are reaching out now to invite you to a faculty-specific follow up opportunity to discuss outcomes of the workshop and provide an opportunity for people to connect on potential research/creative projects that align with Helene recovery and regional resilience needs.
The purpose of this session is to invite attendees and those who may have missed the workshop alike, so we can report on workshop outcomes and explore how ORI might support progress on related research initiatives.
This session will take place on Thursday, June 19 from 10-12 in JET 387 with an option to join via Zoom. We hope you’re able to join us. Feel free to share this invitation with other AppState colleagues.
Please contact g...@appstate.edu to RSVP, and let us know if you have questions about this session.
All the best,
Dr. Christine Hendren, VPRI
