The North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM) Division of Extended Learning invites you to serve as a judge for the 2025 North Carolina Student Academy of Science (NCSAS).

What’s New in 2025?

This year, we’re expanding our state event into two locations to serve students across North Carolina better. We welcome judges at either or both locations!

📍 Durham – March 28, 2025 (for students in our four eastern regions)

📍 Morganton – April 25, 2025 (for students in our four western regions)

Additionally, we’re introducing:

📍 Minor Protection Training: A brief (40-minute) training and attestation are required for all judges.

📍 Simplified Registration: Our new event management system—launching mid-February—will streamline the matching process between judges and students, making participation even easier.

📍 READY TO JUDGE? Please take a moment to complete this brief interest form so we can keep you informed and ensure an accurate judge count. We’ll send the official event registration form in mid-February.
