Happy Earth Day everyone! Feel free to share this with students, colleagues, and peers!

Sustainability and Energy Management is hosting our annual Earth Day Expo on April 22nd from 11AM-2PM. Due to rainy weather, we have changed our location to inside the Plemmons Student Union, in the Blue Ridge Ballroom, Rooms 201 A & 201 B.

Earth Day Expo is centered around the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are stepping stones in the path to economic, social, and environmental sustainability, as well as increased world peace, equality, and the true recognition of human rights.

This Expo is an opportunity for us to partner with campus and community organizations to showcase Appalachian State University’s dedication to sustainability and wellness for all.

Attendees will have the option to participate in our Earth Day SDGs Activity, interacting with organizations to better understand how their actions contribute towards a specific SDG. Take a Hike through the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals, completing at least 12 out of 17 goals to win a free Earth Day T-shirt!
