Dear Colleagues,
Appalachian State University is one of eleven institutions that make up the
Science and Technologies for Phosphorus Sustainability (STEPS) Center, which is funded by the National Science Foundation (VPRI Hendren is Co-PI and Integration Director). RIEEE is the administrative home of
STEPS at Appalachian State and coordinates the transdisciplinary STEPS@AppState project, described in the solicitation linked below. Each grant year, we solicit new and/or expanded tasks that serve project objectives while leveraging AppState faculty expertise and providing research experiences for students.
Please join us
Friday, November 22nd, 2:30-4 pm to learn about the tasks completed and underway and to interact with the STEPS@AppState Research Working Group to discuss potential new tasks. We will meet in the Sywassink Room, #1130, in Peacock Hall. Attendance is not required to receive funding, but it is strongly encouraged.
The solicitation for tasks to be carried out during the fourth year of STEPS is open
here, and proposals are due December 11, 2024. Please contact me with any questions.
Thank you,
Grace
