Good afternoon,

The North Carolina Water Resources Research Institute (WRRI), NC Sea Grant, and the William R. Kenan, Jr. Institute for Engineering, Technology and Science (KIETS) are now accepting proposals for the Community Collaborative Research Grant (CCRG) program for projects to start in May 2026. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on January 23, 2026.

Funding is available for one-year projects and awards will range between $5,000-$25,000. The CCRG program requires a two-person team with a local knowledge expert and a scientific expert. More information is available on the WRRI website: https://wrri.ncsu.edu/funding/.
