Good morning,

We hope you'll join RIEEE on Friday, November 15 at 1 p.m. for the following webinar:

NOAA and the High Technology Foundation's Cloud Data Analytics Fellows Program
Speakers:
  • Jim Estep, President and CEO, High Technology Foundation
  • Adrienne Simonson, Director of NOAA Open Data Dissemination
  • Jenny Dissen, NC Institute for Climate Studies, NCSU
The High Technology Foundation is conducting research to develop an Innovation and Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Around Climate and Weather that will enable NOAA to leverage the innovation and entrepreneurial potential of society to help support climate change adaptation and eliminate inhibitors to the equitable delivery of climate services. The foundation has initiated an effort called the Cloud Data Analytics Fellows program to develop workforce and entrepreneurial support for the Ecosystem project.

Researchers from Appalachian State, as well as other regional universities, are invited to this session to learn about opportunities to partner with the NOAA Open Data Dissemination Program (NODD) and the Cloud Data Analytics Fellows Program.

Please contact me with any questions you may have, and we hope to see you there!
