DEADLINE 4/30 - Forestry Mini Camp for Community College Students

This is our last email for the 2025 UC Berkeley Forestry Mini Camp! The deadline has been extended through today, April 30th, but will take any last minute applications through tomorrow. We still have spots to fill and we hope with your support, we can reach the right students!

Berkeley Forests is putting on our third round of Summer Mini-Camps for community college students interested in learning more about the 4 year degree in forestry at UC Berkeley. For 5 days and 4 nights, students will spend time in the Plumas National Forest (near Quincy, CA), learning the basics of forestry – including career pathways, field skills, ecology, and forest management history in California. 

COST: Accessibility is important to us and is why registration, food and lodging are FREE with the option to carpool or receive a travel reimbursement.

REGISTRATION: Students can click on or scan the QR code on the flyer or visit our Forestry Mini-Camp webpage. When applying, students must upload their unofficial transcripts and a 1-2 page letter of intent. 

The Community College Student Camp will run from July 21st - 25th

We will take applications through tomorrow May 1st.
