Sheriff/Coroner Dan Springer Releases Name of Male Killed in Officer Involved Shooting

 

On the afternoon of Monday, October 27, 2025, the Gallatin County Coroner’s Office, along with the Montana Division of Criminal Investigation, investigated the death of a male killed in an officer involved shooting by Belgrade Police Department. The male was identified as 37-year-old Devin Scheurn of Belgrade. Sheriff Springer would like to thank all the responders who assisted in this investigation.

Sheriff Springer wants to express his gratitude to the brave men and women of the Belgrade Police Department and to their families.
