Hello Apereo Community,

Apereo's diverse portfolio includes innovative edtech solutions, supporting multiple academic and administrative initiatives, and developed by talented and committed communities. Many campuses have already adopted one or more of our tools to enable teaching and learning and support institutional infrastructure.

Let's show the world what the Apereo community can really deliver. Let's build "The Apereo Stack." a complete reference implementation of every Apereo project integrated to showcase both the technologies and communities available with Apereo. The ultimate goal is to create a "complete edtech software stack" including every Apereo project, a model campuses can realize through Apereo software and with Apereo communities.

Day two of Open Apereo--the Stack-Hack--is an open invitation and an open forum for Apereo projects and communities to self-organize and develop a complete edtech solution for colleges and universities. The day will run as a hackathon, providing a unique opportunity for Apereo people and projects to collaborate and co-create.

Please join us on June 15th online.

Registration for Open Apereo & the Stack-Hack is now open.

See you soon,

Patrick

Hi all,
I wanted to remind folks about a new event that is being held as part of Open Apereo. The stack-hack will be an opportunity for technologists (and others) from the various Apereo projects to get together and see how we might combine our efforts. I am hoping to learn a bit more about the other projects, and look for opportunities to integrate them with uPortal. Another thing that would be interesting to investigate is an online, self-serve demo of our projects.

Everyone is welcome to attend! If you are registered for the conference, you can simply indicate you will participate in the stack-hack. Otherwise, even if you are not attending the first day of the conference, you can still attend the stack hack.

To make sure we keep you in the loop with connection information, send me an email and let me know if you are attending.

Hope to see you there,
JimH
