We are a little over halfway through October but there is still time to participate in Hacktoberfest 2021: https://hacktoberfest.digitalocean.com.

Many repositories in the uPortal-project GitHub organization have had the appropriate label added such that pull requests to these repositories would count towards the 4 contributions (minimum) needed for swag or have a tree planted in your name (See "Choose Trees or Tees")
