I'm standing up a new Tsugi environment, running on RHEL9 / Apache / PHP 8.4.16.  I'm running into a weird issue where /admin provides me with the password prompt, but then won't actually take me to the admin page.  The PHP error logs show I'm entering the right password...and I don't see any other errors.  But it just keeps looping me back to the password prompt.

Unless I enable developer mode in config.php...then it takes me right to the admin console.  Am I missing something in my configuration here?  Thanks in advance!

Chris,

I don’t know for sure.  I think that it either required Developer mode or a login from Google to let you in.  I know for my servers I need to log in as a user first and then go into admin.  I have all my production and dev environments set to use google log in.

I know in the older version I don't think it's required...in my current prod and test environments, running an older commit, lets me log in with the admin pw that I configure in the config.php.  I'll have to look in /admin/index.php and gate.php to see what's changed.

Just closing the loop on this thread, this turned out to be an SSL issue...my servers live behind a load balancer that do SSL offloading, but I was trying to directly access them to validate before adding to the pool.  Once they were in the pool and SSLd they worked properly :)
