Hello everyone,

Just wondering what approaches and polices folks are employing for archiving courses?

In terms of archiving, I know there is a batch export which creates a .zip file of the course content and that can be reimported into Sakai; however, this is not an archive which keeps the student data (grades, forum posts, assignment submissions). We may want to start removing old courses, but looking for a way to create a snapshot of the entire course as it took place.

Interested if anyone else has been working on this,

Jim.

Hey Jim

Check this out.

Takes a complete snapshot of a course including student data. Was written for Yale who moved away from Sakai and wanted the content.

Cheers
Steve
