Professional Programming with Artificial Intelligence - Tuesday July 15th, - Registration $250 per person
Join us for a one-day interactive workshop exploring how top-tier software developers in the Sakai Project use Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their daily development work.
Sakai, a 20-year-old enterprise application with over a million lines of code, includes a variety of frameworks and coding styles. Like most enterprise projects, maintaining and enhancing Sakai requires efficiency, precision, and adaptability. The Sakai development team actively integrates AI across their workflow—from writing new code to bug fixing and code review.
This is not a structured presentation with slides or a fixed agenda. Instead, it will be a completely interactive, audience-driven session. Live demonstrations will showcase real-world AI-assisted coding in action, and the discussion will evolve based on audience questions and interests. Participants will have the opportunity to shape the conversation, suggest topics, and see how AI is applied in real-time to actual development challenges.
If you've ever wondered what developers mean when they say, "I used AI to help build this code," this is your chance to see it in practice—with no script, just real work and real AI-driven coding.
