Dear All,

Is there anybody who is encountering the issue signing into Sakai with Chrome client v.89?

We have had a bunch of Chrome users who need to either update their version or to clear their cookies/browser's cache in order to login to Sakai. Seems Safari, Edge, FF are okay at this moment.

Best,

S

Hi Sanghyun,

Have you read up on SameSite cookies and the changes being implemented by browsers? It seems possible if you are part of a consortium of colleges that have unique domain names as you may be presented with cross-origin cookie blocking with new browser rules.

I haven't seen any issues with Chrome 89 other than the big AdBlock one that hit earlier this week.

A lot of users seem to use this extension and it seemed to break almost everything in iframes until it was updated/reset or disabled, especially on Chrome. I'd always recommend trying in a private window to see if it's an issue with caching or extensions.
