Database Migration from Binary Deployment to Source Deployment

Hi,

I've and instance deployed using the latest binary release.

And i've another server with 22.x deployed from source what's the best way to migrate the data between the servers.

I tried to import/export the database but that's not working.

The binary and the source deployments are not different in terms of instance data, the first one is a pre-compiled deployment while the second one is compiled in your machine. Both may have a configured DB and both host the files in a specific path.

If you want to move the data from one server to another one, export the DB and import it in the new server, also move the instance files to the new server, the path should be described in the "body...@org.sakaiproject.content.api.ContentHostingService" property.

I've already moved the DB, Can you explain a bit more about the Hosting Service Property.
