I'm getting this error when I try to switch to ~/.m2 to create a settings.xml file for maven so I can deploy sakai 10.4.   I realize this probably isn't entirely necessary but I was just curious.

-bash: cd: /home/sakai/.m2: No such file or directory

Any ideas?  Should I just mkdir in ~/?

Thanks in advance.

Usually if you run any maven command that folder will be created.  From anywhere just do a mvn --version and see if it's not created.

Cheers

It's created in your home dir, so from that error your username is sakai? Do you have correct permissions?

I did a custom install and found the settings.xml file in the maven home directory.  I got it all set up and my sakai instance is running now.  I am running into some other issues that my boss is requesting and it concerns things I'm not too familiar with.  I'm basically a one man team working on this so I'm sure I am a little bit annoying here in the forums, but I don't really have a choice.  So...  to all of you that have provided assistance over the months I am VERY appreciative and cannot express my gratitude enough.
