Hello Sakai Developers,

What kind of ways there is to scale Sakai in cloud and is it possible to host it as SaaS and multi-tenant software?

I found this article: https://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/DOC/Sakai+Admin+Guide+-+Load+Balancing+and+Scaling from Confluence, but it seems rather old to make any conclusions. Or is still up-to-date?

What is the capacity for single instance in terms of users and how many concurrent users one instance can handle with stable and good performance?

Are there any tests run or statistics to analyze the performance of Sakai?

Hi Artu,

I don't think Sakai is "true" multi-tenant software, but it is being used by places like the LAMP consortium that includes many universities and other institutions sharing an instance of Sakai but with a way to keep the institutions separate in many ways and branded separately.

You might want to check them out, see what they do and maybe reach out.

Best,
Neal
