Inquiry: Split-Column View for Reading Comprehension

Hello everyone,

I would like to check whether Sakai currently supports a split-column or side-by-side layout within the Tests & Quizzes tool.This layout would allow a Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation, and other paragraph-based questions to appear on one side of the screen while the related questions appear on the other side. This format is very common in competitive exam platforms, as it allows students to read the passage and answer questions without excessive scrolling.

For reference, I have attached a sample showing the split-view layout.

I would like to know:

  1. Does Sakai currently support a split-column or side-by-side layout for long passages with related questions in the Tests & Quizzes tool?

  2. If not, is there any plan or ongoing discussion to implement such a feature in future Sakai releases?

  3. If it is not planned, would the community be open to considering this as a feature request?
