Hi all,

You probably have heard abut the Sakai Hockey Club that I sponsored last year. My crazy idea for this summer is a “Sakai Racing Team” to compete in the “24 Hours of Lemons” racing series.

Well I have purchased a race car - it is a 1990 Nissan Stanza that is currently themes as Venture Brothers (i.e. cosplay meets road racing) that in time will be re-done as the Sakaigermobile (kind of like the Batmobile but for Sakaigers).

Its first race is June 30 - it won’t be the Sakaigermobile by then - we just hope it starts and runs and we don’t crash it.

I attach the logo for the team shirts. I should probably make a Cafe Press for this logo.

Pretty cool! Wish they had a race scheduled here in the south (it's not like we don't have a track or two down here). Keep us posted on the race dates/venues. I'll make a reasonable road trip.
