Hi, everyone.
I'm happy to announce that Western University has finished its upgrade
from 10.3 to Sakai 11 this week in preparation for the start of our Fall
term next week.
After almost a year of work from dozens of people from our development,
eLearning, technical, and support teams here at Western, we are finally
running Sakai 11 in production.
We appreciate the feedback that we received from the community,
particularly from those who had moved to Sakai 11 before us. Your
suggestions and warnings based on your experiences helped us to identify
and address a number of issues prior to our release.
There were still a number of unidentified issues that we discovered
along the way and we have already started contributing our fixes back to
Sakai master, which we will continue to do over the coming months.
Since we've been "heads-down" for the past few months, we should be able
to participate once again in the community now that our release is live
- so excuse us as we catch up on past discussions and inquiries in the
coming weeks.

Are you asking about the deployment process on release day? Or are you
referring to our whole project (development, testing, documentation,
communication, release) to release Sakai 11?
