Hi,
We have a WAF at our network perimeter which blocks any URL with a tilde character in it. Since Sakai uses the tilde when constructing its internal links, it is resulting in the page not getting rendered since our WAF is actively blocking such URL requests. We are using version 2.9.3. This was not an issue when accessed internally (no WAF) and we had extended the platform to our overseas employees as well. Since all external requests are routed through the WAF, they are not able to access the platform. Any suggestions on how to address this will be helpful.

TIA.
- Jai

My suggestion would be to modify your WAF. Tilde is a valid URL character. Most likely your WAF is attempting to block Apache-style home directories, but the application of this rule is overly broad and incorrect.
