Sakai Accessibility Working Group Conference Calls
Good evening!
Please note a couple of important updates regarding our regularly scheduled biweekly Sakai Accessibility Working Group meetings…
First, the Sakai Accessibility Working Group meeting scheduled for this Friday, November 26 at 2pm is canceled due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Second, we are in the process of trying to determine an alternate day/time for hosting our Sakai Accessibility Working Group meetings to accommodate as many people from the Sakai community as possible—including those across all of the U.S. time zones as well as some of our international friends.
Earlier tonight, I sent out a Doodle poll to several dozen members of the Sakai community who will participate in Sakai Accessibility Working Group meetings from time to time, as well as others who I have worked with on accessibility-related issues who I thought might benefit from occasionally participating in these meetings.

And please feel free to forward the Doodle link onto others at your organizations who you think might be interested in getting involved.
Again, this is to determine an alternate meeting day/time for our Sakai Accessibility Working Group meetings that occur every other week.
Please note: The Doodle only lists the first meeting in the series for a proposed days/time. For example, for the first option—the first meeting in the series would occur on that Tuesday, December 7 which means the next meeting would occur two weeks later on Tuesday, December 21, and the next meeting after that on Tuesday, January 4, and so on…
Please respond to the poll when you get a chance—select as many day/time options that you feel could work for you most weeks, with the understanding that folks will always have certain scheduling conflicts come up, and not everybody will be able to attend every meeting.
The poll will close at 5PM EST on Thursday, December 2.
On Friday, December 3 I will send another email out to the Sakai A11Y list serve to let everybody know of the new meeting day/time, which will go into effect that following week (or the week after—depending on which option gets the most votes)
Finally, I just wanted to give folks a heads up that Josh Wilson will be presenting about the Sakai Road Map during our next Sakai Accessibility Working Group meeting, so once we have settled on the new day/time, I will be circling back with him to make final arrangements.
