Sakai Accessibility Working Group Conference Calls
Good afternoon,
Just a friendly reminder that our next Sakai Accessibility Working Group meeting is scheduled for this Friday, January 21 at 11am.
Again, following the meeting Doodle poll that we administered back in December, we decided not to change the day of our Sakai Accessibility Working Group meetings (for now) however, we have switched the time of our meetings to 11am on every other Friday.
If you are available to join us this Friday at 11am, we would love to see you! And hopefully this new time will work better for more people from the Sakai community to be able to attend/participate on a more regular basis.
Please make a note of this change—the meeting information has also been updated on the Sakai Community calendar.

In terms of our proposed agenda for Friday’s Sakai Accessibility Working Group meeting, my plan is to use the time to use our new “WAM-A11Y Jira Review Process” (see attached) to continue to work through the current backlog of accessibility-related Jiras to identify/prioritize issues for the Dev team to work on.
Also, just a quick public service announcement that if your institution is working on any accessibility fixes/improvements that you plan to contribute back to the Sakai community code, we are able/willing to perform preliminary accessibility/usability testing to supplement/enhance your local development/QA efforts. All we would need is for you to provide us with access to a test environment on one of your institution’s local instances of Sakai and any specific instructions for what testing is needed.
