Apereo OAE 11.1

Apereo OAE 11.1 will be rolled out to the production environment on Monday May 18 at 6am EDT / 11am BST.

This release upgrades Apereo OAE from Etherpad 1.4 to Etherpad 1.5.6, bringing the following improvements to collaborative documents:

• Performance improvements, especially around the page load time
• Accessibility improvements of the editor
• Bug fixes for mobile usage
• Improved Internet Explorer support
• Improved cut and paste behaviour
• Improved HTML export

Next to that, Apereo OAE 11.1 also includes the updated French, Spanish and German translations.

We are not expecting any downtime associated to this upgrade. Once the upgrade has been completed, an update will be sent to this list.

The release was rolled out out at approximately 6:10 EDT / 11:10 BST, the migration completed by 6:20 EDT / 11:20 BST.
