Apereo OAE 12.1

Apereo OAE 12.1 will be rolled out to the production environment on Wednesday October 21 at 5am PDT / 8am EDT /  1pm BST.

This release introduces the following features and enhancements:

• Users that have received an invitation to the guest tenancy, but are a member of an institution for which a tenancy exists, are now allowed to select their institution from the list of tenancies and transfer their invitation to their institutional tenancy.
• Users creating a new local account are now only able to use an email address that matches the institution’s configured email domain.
• Fixed a bug where the number of online users in a collaborative document was no longer visible.
• Fixed a bug where some of the collaborative document editor icons were no longer displaying correctly in Chrome.
• Added templating support to the configurable skinning values.

We are not expecting any downtime associated to this upgrade. Once the upgrade has been completed, an update will be sent to this list.

Hi all,

Due to some dependency issues experienced in our release utility
server, we are delaying this release to ensure a dependency update has
not introduced a regression.

Hi all,

The dependency issue has been resolved, and version 12.1.1 is planned
to be released Thursday, October 21st at 5am PDT / 8am EDT / 1pm BST.
In addition to the aforementioned improvements in 12.1, version 12.1.1
introduces:

* Support for templating landing page text with the tenant display name
* Additional spanish translations
* Additional french translations

We are not expecting any downtime associated to this upgrade. Once the
upgrade has been completed, an update will be sent to this list.
