Apereo OAE 11.2

Apereo OAE 11.2 will be rolled out to the production environment on Friday May 28 at 6am EDT / 11am BST.

This upgrade will introduce the following new features and enhancements:

• Users can now be deleted by a global or tenant administrator, allowing for an account that’s no longer active to be removed. Deleted users are not removed from the system entirely though, but are archived instead and can be re-activated by an administrator at any point in time.
• When a user does not have a valid name or email address, they will now be prompted to enter these. This mostly addresses the scenario where a user has signed in through SSO and the Identity Provider doesn’t release a valid name and/or email address for the user.
  
• Improvements to the autosuggest component, allowing it to deal much better with long user and group names.

We are not expecting any downtime associated to this upgrade. Once the upgrade has been completed, an update will be sent to this list.
