Hello CAS Community,

We have our Apereo site up on 8080, cert is created (obviously not in use yet since we're using 8080 for now). I'm not having much luck yet setting up the CAS link on 443 yet, so I'm dead in the water presently.

I've configured the server.xml file and restarted Tomcat several times, but to no avail. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

...One more question:

Presuming the 443 issue is a quick fix (I'm sure it is) and we get https://FQDN/cas/login set up -- what is the next step in terms of configuring LDAP authentication?

If you can steer me in the right direction I'd appreciate that one too!

Thanks,
Hank

Hank,

You will need to provide some info/logs on why Tomcat is not starting.
In the mean time, try port 8443 (configured in Tomcat). 443 is restricted to servers started by root.
