Hello,
This is my first question so i am sorry if i am asking something beyond the scope.
I have been inspecting CAS for a few days and couldnt be sure if it suits our needs or not.
Basically we are developing a multi node web portal,it will be available on public domain,
there will also be a mobile application and extranet/intranet projects and also api's to be secured
which will be used by our partners. Our need is a tool to deploy on a node as a security microservice
so all other web applications/mobile applications/apis will use it for authentication/authorization.We want to
reach this authentication server via rest,we do not wish to redirect to the authentication server and/or
use a centric login screen. We also need social login/signup via Facebook or Google account
and store/manage user social profile data at authentication server.

Do you think CAS is the suitable use case for us?

Thank you,
Fatih

CAS does not store/manage user social profile data. It’s authentication server; not a registry. That’s something you have to do, or work with pac4j maybe:

https://github.com/pac4j/pac4j/issues/339

https://github.com/pac4j/pac4j/issues/342

Yes to all else.
