jcifs-ext-0.9.4.pom missing (404 Not found) on CAS 4.2.0-RC2 (https://jitpack.io/org/samba/jcifs/jcifs-ext/0.9.4/jcifs-ext-0.9.4.pom)

Hey CAS enthusiasts!

I wanted to build a CAS service using version 4.2.0-RC2 to work on using
SPNEGO authentication against an M$ AD server.

Opon switching to 4.2.0-RC2 maven tried to download from URL
https://jitpack.io/org/samba/jcifs/jcifs-ext/0.9.4/jcifs-ext-0.9.4.pom
which throws a nice 404 :-(


I found on the ML that the samba packages have been problematic to fetch
in the past:

That lib is pretty much kaput. We only maintain it in Jasig's legacy repos:
http://developer.jasig.org/repo/content/groups/m2-legacy/org/samba/jcifs/

You should not have to declare this repo directly, but if you need it, it's
there.

Awesome ... it seems to work now. If I may ask ... what is your way
forward with tht lib? Replace it altogether?
