Alfresco Question

I am trying to setup Alfresco Community version 5.1 to use CAS 4.2.  Has anybody done this implementation before and have any suggestions?  I am trying to follow this documentation: http://docs.alfresco.com/community5.0/concepts/alf-modauthcas-home.html.  However, the documentation was written for a setup using CAS 3.3.5, an older version of Apache, and an older version of mod_auth_cas.  I was curious if someone has done an integration using a more modern version of CAS with Alfresco.
