Closed "Contribution Suitable" issues

I'm working on upgrading a 3.5.x CAS instance to 5.x. As i've gone through updated documentation I created issues #2614, #2615, #2617. These were all closed, but marked with a "Contribution Suitable" label. Typically most projects would leave these open, especially since I only created them since I didn't find any "open" issues for them.
What is the reason for closing them and not leaving them open?
