Support for LTI via OAuth protocol 1

We are discussing integrating LTI (for AKCIS) to CAS.  This is the preferred SSO because then users could view DegreeWorks on the same login as AKCIS (Career Planning).

However, LTI apparently supports OAuth 1, not OAuth 2.

Is there any support for OAuth1?

Hi,

I guess you talk about OAuth server support. There is no plan to add OAuth 1.0 support. OAuth 1.0 is dying and being replaced by OAuth 2.0 in most identity providers.

From what I can gather about LTI, you don't need the CAS Server to support it, you could just protect a script that generates the LTI launch message with a CAS client. I.e. following the pattern in the section "SSO from a web-based script" in:


and using a script similar to the provided example at:

   (linked to from the above document)
