AI and CAS development

Hello,

We use CAS 6.4.x and will move to CAS7. The company is looking for ways to use AI (Github Copilot) in software development. 

With my main focus being on CAS (along with customization, vendor integration, testing, deploying), does anyone have suggestion or experience how one may make use of CoPilot or AI?

We tried asking CoPilot generating documentations with CAS project, Not surprisingly, that did Not work too well, as CoPilot does not understand the depth and important details of CAS as a webapp, when compared with a generic CRUD apps.

Copilot generates some code in Intellij as I type, that has worked well, saves some typing. But there likely will be more ways of using AI in CAS community.
