CAS2 /CAS3 to CAS5 upgrade

Hi,

   I am pretty new to CAS. My question could be very basic (pardon me if that is so). 

   I have been asked to upgrade two of the customized applications based on CAS2 & CAS3 to latest version of CAS5. While understanding CAS5, figured out that CAS2/3 is based on JSPs and CAS5 is based on HTML & Thymeleaf. How can carry forward my CAS2/3 based JSP, configuration files customization over to CAS5? Tried CAS5 overlay but the project structure seems to be completely different in CAS5 when compared to CAS3.

 Please let me know, if i have to re-write the customization in CAS5 cas-server-webapp.

Do you want to  upgrade a cas client or a CAs server?

If its a client only look for latest version.

The only important view is casLoginMessageView, which I converted to ThymeLeaf, if you read some documentation shouldnt be so difficult.
