Nominations now open for the 2024 Apereo Board of Directors Elections

Dear Apereo Community,
Nominations are now open for the Apereo Board of Directors elections.
This year, two seats are open for Organizational Member Representatives and one seat is open for Individual Member Representative. Total of three seats are available.
Current board members, Anne-Marie Scott and Francois Campbell are ending their second terms on the Apero Board and are not eligible for re-election. A heartfelt thanks to these two outstanding board members for their leadership, dedication, and energy over the last six years! Thank you! You will be missed!
A new Individual Member Seat was approved by the Apereo Board in March 2024. The total number of Individual Member Seats is now two.
Apereo Member Organizations nominate and vote for individuals for the Organizational Member representative board of directors seats.
Friends of Apereo members nominate and vote for individuals for the Individual Board Member representatives board of director seats.

Schedule of ElectionsMonday, March 18th, 2024: Nominations open.
Directors shall be at least eighteen (18) years of age and need not be United States citizens or residents of the State of New Jersey.
All Directors shall serve three (3) year terms.
Directors are permitted to hold office for multiple terms and may hold up to two (2) consecutive terms.
It is not necessary for a Director to be employed by an organization that is a member of the Foundation.
A person may be nominated for a Director position by a Member or representative of a Member Organization in good standing.
Any Individual Member in good standing shall be eligible to be elected as Individual Member Director.

Friday, April 19th, 2024 – Nominations close at the end of the day (03:59 UTC/11:59 PM EDT).
Monday April 22, 2024 - Executive Director will announce nominees. Voting membership; Organizational and Individual Members will be notified via email.
Monday, April 29th, 2024 – Voting opens, and ballots are sent to Organizational and Individual Members.
Friday, May 10th, 2024 - Voting ends, and elections close (03:59 UTC/11:59 PM EDT).
Monday, May 13th, 2024 - Run-off elections open (if needed).
Friday, May 17th, 2024 - Run-off election voting ends, and elections close (if needed) (03:59 UTC/11:59 PM EDT).
Monday, May 20th, 2024 - Executive Director notifies elected board members and other candidates of the results.
Annual General Meeting, Apereo’s AGM’s OW2 June 11-12, 2024 - Paris-Châtillon, France - Apereo Board receives, reviews, and accepts election results. New board members are seated officially July 1st, 2024.
