Hi Apereo Community,
As you may know, we’re once again collaborating with the team at OW2con 2026 to host the “Open Source in Education, Science and Research” breakout track at this year’s conference in Châtillon (just outside Paris), taking place June 2–3.
This marks our third year partnering with OW2con on this dedicated track, which runs alongside the main stage program. The conference itself is free to attend and features a single-track main stage focused this year on “Open Source and Open Models to Drive European Sovereignty.” Our education-focused track will run for at least half a day (and possibly longer), bringing together voices from across higher education, research, and open source.
📢 Call for Proposals – Extended (Education Track Only)The OW2 team has provided a special submission extension through April 12 specifically for our track.
We’d love to see strong representation from across the Apereo community.
Right now, we have submissions from the Xerte project (thank you, Inge and Tom! 🙌), but we know there are many more stories, innovations, and lessons worth sharing.
💡 Why Participate? If you’ve been considering submitting a talk, this is a special opportunity. Please also help us spread the word across your networks!
