Db issues with portlets in uPortal 4.3

Hi folks,

Has anyone seen and resolved issues with initializing data for portlets in uPortal 4?

Portlets, like Announcements, that run a Hibernate plugin seem to be failing due to a DTD issue in Xerces XML parser. Announcements db init works fine solo or in uPortal 5.
