Sakai translation in Romanian

Hello Mr Gao Jun,

We are from Romania and we want to translate Sakai into Romanian. Do you know, is there already any translation in Romanian, or does somebody work on it to join our efforts?

Additionally, can you help us and indicate how we can proceed to start translating?

Hi Cristian,

Miguel Pellicer (mpel...@entornosdeformacion.com) is the current responsible for internationalization of the Sakai Project.

He will provide you more instructions, but I think that your first step should be creating an account in Transifex, adding romanian to the Sakai languages and just start translating.

After a good amount of translations have been provided I think that they have automatic steps to add them to the project.

Thanks Daniel,

That's correct, if you're willing to contribute a Romanian translation we can enable the language in transifex and, after completing a percentage above 70%, we can export the translations into the next version of Sakai and enable the Romanian as supported locale. We can also provide some support to enable the language in a current Sakai release as a language pack.

Hey, I've added the Bulgarian locale.

Everybody can request to be a translator in Transifex after creating an account, I've added you as a coordinator for the Bulgarian.

I have a question: my translator for bulgarian knows better Romanian than English, so, I need to change the reference language from English to Romanian in translation section. How can I do this?

Hi Cristian, I'm sorry, not familiar enough with transifex about that. I'm not sure it's possible to change the reference language in Transifex, I think English is the reference and the best source to translate Sakai.
