This is your friendly reminder that our next Sakai Accessibility Working Group meeting is scheduled for this Friday, January 7 at 11am.
Again, following the meeting Doodle poll that we administered back in December, we decided not to change the day of our Sakai Accessibility Working Group meetings (for now) however, we have switched the time of our meetings to 11am on every other Friday.
If you are available to join us this Friday at 11am, we would love to see you! And hopefully this new time will work better for more people from the Sakai community to be able to attend/participate on a more regular basis.

Our plan was to have Josh Wilson from the Marketing team join us at this meeting to go over the Sakai Road Map, but we have decided to instead schedule a stand-alone virtual focus group session.
If you are interested in being involved in the Road Map discussion, Josh currently has a Calendli poll out to determine the best day/time for scheduling the virtual focus group session. You can access the poll at the below link (please submit your responses by COB tomorrow, Thursday January 6, as we are hoping to finalize the day/time for this session ASAP)

Again, the purpose of this discussion will be for Josh to collect your accessibility-related feedback on the Sakai Roadmap 2023-2025.
For context... Josh described the various proposed items in the roadmap in his recent Sakai Virtual Conference workshop. Here's the workshop recorded video; the description of proposed roadmap items begins at 19:49. There's some background about the goals for the Roadmap as well as our iterative process from 3:09 - 6:57
In terms of our proposed agenda for Friday’s Sakai Accessibility Working Group meeting, my plan is to use the time to go over the attached “WAM-A11Y Jira Review Process” document and continue to work through the current backlog of accessibility-related Jiras to identify/prioritize issues for the Dev team to work on.
Also including the most up-to-date version of the “Sakai 21 Accessibility Regression Test Script” Excel spreadsheet for your reference.
If you can't make this Friday’s Sakai Accessibility Working Group meeting, please mark your calendar for the next one scheduled for Friday, January 21, 2022 at 11am (our next regularly scheduled meeting day/time actually falls on December 24 so this week’s meeting will be our last regularly scheduled meeting on 2021)
