Help please i need update cas 4.2 to 5.3

Hello... I have CAS 4.2 Installed, should I update it to version 5.3, is there any guide or guidance that can help me? The information on the official website has not helped me at all.

Can you please guide me?

4.2 is EOL, https://apereo.github.io/cas/developer/Maintenance-Policy.html

You should upgrade to a 6.x release, https://apereo.github.io/cas/6.0.x/planning/Upgrade-Guide.html
