CAS TGT creation api is taking more than 1 min

Hello Folks,
I was wondering on how I can potentially improve the performance of cas/v1/tickets endpoint that creates a tgt ticket. The code is deployed in AWS ECS with cpu 8 vCPU and memory 30 GB and tickets are stored in postgres.
More than 1 min latency seems too much for just creating tgt. Am i missing something obvious.
Our earlier version of CAS which was at version 3 used to take 100 ms to create tgt and st.
Would appreciate any insight.
