Customization of 2FA in CAS 5

I am upgrading our CAS installation to version 5. In our current implementation we have some highly customized web flows that allow a user to bypass two-factor authentication sign up until a certain date (it varies by service).

What is the best way to customize the 2FA flow in CAS 5? Specifically we are using the Duo integration.

We also have other customizations to the flow that will need to be addressed, so if there are any suggestions regarding customization overall they are also appreciated.

Hello,

I'm interested by your customized web flow. Which version are you currently using ? In our organization, we use customized 3.5. I've given a try with 5.0 and 5.1 but at this time, any extension to webflow is pretty painful as new design makes the web flow almost built by java code.
