Password reset via PM module with smsGate . Is it possible ?

Hello,

 

 Does  Cas-overlay  offer posibility  to change users  password  using password managment module which  was integrated  with AD LDAP     using   sms GATE (with REST API) ?

In my place of work we have sth diffrent from Twilio or  Clickatell,  but our gate  ofers  REST API too,so we can use it .I have seen  cas Rest API   doc  on website but i'm not sure if it is possible inegrate with cas pm module .

What will user receive  via sms  :code, link if it(pm<->smsGATE)  works in you instalations  ?

Nowaday i use emial reset password  with pm  , can i do reset password  via sms ? That is the clue.

I can just advise you to code it yourself and propose to the community like i did with our own SMS provider SMSMode.

It's not very complicated, (you can take example on another provider)

Dear jrautureau,

So if it is not very complitated  how can i do this in steps  and how to connect to front panel of PM. Realy i do don't know to start.   is it   payable solution   that what you mentioned  -> org.apereo.cas:cas-server-support-sms-smsmode  ?Could you take clouds and let's give some shine .   I have thought that Cas has something   ready to  use  with out  codding frontend and backend site , i prefer somthing to configurate then code ,ususal test and secuity test becouse it needs more   time probably. .Probably  I was wrong thinging about it that i can add some module  to cas connect with pm  .Im using docker  and all of this thogether looks not easy to accoplish.But anyway thank you for  answers.
