CAS workflow upgrade from 4.0.3 to 5.0.x

We are in the middle of upgrading from 4.0.3 to either 5.0 or possibly 5.1

We have a current 4.0.3 Java workflow for an action-state "serviceCheck", which at login if a user has a certain ldap attribute set then we redirect to a special internal critical message application.

I have a couple questions after reviewing the new 5.0 and 5.1 workflow documentation: Is there any sample workflow code out there that handles an action-state similar to the above?

Also, would my original 4.0.3 workflow override be an option under CAS5?

I modified the login-webflow.xml and replaced all serviceCheck transitions to point to my own <decision-state> which in turn would either transition to serviceCheck or redirect to the a specific application (based on role and service).

I did this in 3.5.1 originally and only needed to make minor changes for 5.1.0-SNAPSHOT.
